Join to apply for the Autopilot Test Specialist / Pilota di Prova Autopilot (Relocation to Spain) role at Tesla What To Expect We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help accelerate our vehicle-level testing. The Autopilot Test Specialist is a very hands-on position, working closely with Engineers and Technicians to test the performance of our system and identify improvements. This is a full-time position which requires someone who is highly organized, confident in their high-performance driving ability, has strong technical aptitude, and the ability to manage projects along a fluid schedule. This role is based in Tarragona, Spain but also requires the flexibility of traveling (up to 40%) to various domestic and international destinations as necessary, to test vehicles on public roads and proving grounds. Note: A successful candidate will be required to relocate from Italy to Tarragona (Spain). Please submit an English translated CV as part of your application. What You'll Do Safely conduct vehicle-level testing of our ADAS system through analysing data, triaging software issues, and troubleshooting abnormal vehicle behaviours using Tesla in-house designed proprietary software tools Communicate test results with engineers and be on-call for clarification if necessary Support design and fabrication of vehicle engineering tools Support technicians in vehicle preparation by installing relevant ADAS test equipment Maintain and document test vehicle condition, coordinate repairs/retrofits as necessary Maintain confidentiality with respect to prototype hardware and software, unreleased vehicle programs, or any other Tesla internal information Support any other vehicle engineering testing as needed What You'll Bring Excellent driving fundamentals with a clean driving record and safe driving habits.
