Our Company\'s strength lies in the breadth of our iconic brand portfolio, the diversity and passion of our 300,000 people, and our deep roots in the communities in which we operate. /ppbRole overview /b /ppThe Cooling Systems Engineering Lead is responsible for the technical ownership of belectric pumps, valves and Thermal Management Modules (TMM) /b within vehicle thermal management architectures for conventional and electrified vehicles. /ppThe role provides technical leadership across development phases, ensuring component and system performance, robustness and integration within multi-loop thermal systems. The Engineering Lead acts as the primary technical reference for assigned components across vehicle programs. /ppbKey responsibilities /b /ppbTechnical ownership /b /pulliServe as the technical reference for electric coolant pumps, valve systems and thermal management modules across vehicle platforms. /liliDefine and maintain component-level and system-level technical requirements. /liliSupport design decisions, trade-off analyses and architectural choices within the thermal system. /li /ulpbComponent and System Development /b /pulliSupport the design, development and validation of thermal components in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers. /liliEnsure performance, durability, efficiency and manufacturability targets are achieved. /liliContribute to DFMEA, design reviews and validation planning. /li /ulpbStandards and Documentation /b /pulliDevelop, maintain and improve engineering standards, specifications and guidelines related to pumps, valves and thermal modules. /liliSupport the alignment of supplier technical documentation with internal engineering standards. /li /ulpbIssue Resolution and Problem Solving /b /pulliProvide technical support during all development phases, from concept to production and field issues. /liliAnalyze system behavior and interactions within cooling loops, identifying root causes and corrective actions. /liliSupport performance optimization activities related to flow control, energy efficiency and thermal response. /li /ulpbCross-Functional Integration /b /pulliCollaborate with: /liliHVAC and refrigerant system teams /liliBattery thermal management teams /liliEDU and power electronics cooling teams /liliControls and software teams /liliSimulation, vehicle integration and validation teams /liliEnsure proper integration of thermal components into the overall Vehicle Thermal Management strategy. /li /ulpbRequired Skills and Competencies /b /pulliStrong system-level thinking and ability to manage technical complexity. /liliSolid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electromechanical systems and control logic. /liliAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to multidisciplinary teams. /liliStructured problem-solving approach and ability to work in a dynamic development environment. /li /ulpbEducation and Experience /b /ppbRequired /b /pulliBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or a related STEM discipline. /liliUnderstanding of automotive product development processes and engineering deliverables. /liliExperience in defining technical requirements and supporting component integration. /liliStrong collaboration and communication skills. /li /ulpbPreferred /b /pulliMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics or related fields. /liliExperience with electric pumps, valves, thermal modules or fluid distribution systems. /liliExposure to automotive thermal management systems. /liliExperience interacting with suppliers and supporting validation activities. /li /ulpAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
