Role Purpose Correctly register and accompany trucks, ships and/or trains, performing multiple administrative and control tasks related to the loading of trucks, ships and/or trains as well as the self‐loading of wet and/or dry sand to ensure correct and smooth loading and departure of the means of transport.
Responsibilities Perform administrative tasks related to loading of trucks and ships, including verifying information on necessary documents (loading and production planning, stocks, the loaded weight, etc.).
Carry out visual quality control, signalling irregularities or deviations to the person in charge, logistics department, and/or Customer Service.
Enter data (e.g., loaded weight) into the IT system called 'Objective' and draw up a corresponding CMR report.
Complete transport documents and archive these documents after processing by the Sibelco logistics department.
Sign up trucks and ships and/or trains, guide them to the correct loading bay/loading facility, and load them correctly.
Ensure necessary actions, including administration, are taken to operate the loading facilities safely.
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the work area, company premises, and loading installations.
Operate the weighbridge from start to finish.
Welcoming visitors for production and answering the phone.
About you High school degree or equivalent by experience.
Knowledge of required IT systems (SAP, MES, Objective).
Certificate for driving forklift.
Basic knowledge of English and other local languages.
