Very High Voltage (EHV) / Transmission Lines
1. Role MissionTo lead the entry, establishment, and growth of the group in the Italian electrical transmission market, building the organization from scratch and adapting to local market dynamics.
2. Main Functions and ResponsibilitiesA. Strategic and Commercial DevelopmentLead the design and execution of the market entry strategy (whether through tenders, local partnerships, or acquisition of small companies) and define a medium- to long-term strategy with realistic growth objectives.Develop a deep understanding of the Italian market, especially the Italian TSO Terna S.p.A.: estimating market volume, identifying the project pipeline, and analyzing competitors and key public and private clients.Establish key relationships with Terna, potential clients, strategic stakeholders, and local authorities.Identify subcontractors by region and activity, as well as reliable local suppliers (labor, materials, tools, assembly, civil works).Corporate synergies and international expansion: in the medium term, the strategic vision is to enable the Italian base to execute work in Central Europe. Since the company already has transmission line divisions operating in Germany, Portugal, and Spain, the Italian division will be able to collaborate from the outset by acting as a direct subcontractor to the group's German division. In parallel, the Italian team will aim to proactively secure independent projects in Germany and other strategic Central European markets.B. Operational and Financial ManagementPrepare and adapt commercial bids for the Italian market, leading negotiations and coordinating closely with headquartersControl production, costs, margins, invoicing, cash flow, and annual budgeting.Oversee the feasibility of high-voltage projects and manage contractual administration.C. Team Leadership and OrganizationDefine the future organizational structure, required human and material resources, and recruit the core team in Italy for progressive deployment.Actively participate in the selection and training of the local team to ensure alignment with the objectives of the parent company.Integrate into and leverage the existing structure in Italy (Electrical Distribution and Telecommunications), identifying synergies and joint business opportunities.D. Regulatory and Legal ComplianceEnsure the legal incorporation of the entity and obtain all permits and certifications required under Italian law in the EHV sector.Guarantee strict compliance with occupational safety regulations, technical standards, environmental requirements, and HR obligations (training and permits for workers) in Italy.
3. Required ProfileTechnical Experience: Solid and proven experience in overhead Very High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines (150 kV–380 kV), with strong familiarity with Italian energy sector regulations and procedures. Experience with Terna S.p.A. projects is highly valued, as it will be the main client in Italy.Languages: Native or bilingual Italian is mandatory due to daily interaction with public bodies and stakeholders.Commercial Skills: Proven ability to identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close deals locally.Attitude: Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the resilience required to build a business from scratch in a highly demanding environment.
