The Product and Process Quality Engineer reports to the Product and Process Quality Manager.
The purpose of this position is to ensure the implementation of test methods necessary to guarantee the quality and hygiene of the Company products, by supporting the Plants in quality process control and customer claims, in accordance with company standards and procedures.
**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Supports in ensuring that all quality control standard methods and procedures are constantly updated in terms of efficiency and compliance with customer requirements
- Provides advice and support on quality control aspects to all internal stakeholders globally and locally
- Supports Group plants on daily activities and, in case of need, directly supports the Quality Manager and his or her team in the plant performing quality control activities and measurements
- Supports in the definition and adequate execution of test methods
- Provides training and support to plants on measurement processes and tools
- Collaborates in the definition of development plans for laboratory activities
- Supports the PPQ Manager in ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the reporting system.
- Ensures that all internal and external non-conformities are tracked in the Group’s Systems and prepares periodic reports on quality performance of the Plants
- Supports the plants in identifying the appropriate containment and corrective actions to internal and external non-conformities (CAPA Plan)
- Participates to new production projects acting as reference point for quality aspects
**Technical Skills**:
- Good knowledge of ISO standards
- Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, IM, CIM)
- Good knowledge of Statistical Process Control and statistical analysis
- Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques
- Good project management skills
- Good knowledge of English
**Education and Experience**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Quality Control department of an FMCG multinational company
