The Shipping & Delivery Support Learning & Capability Optimization team is seeking an exceptional instructional designer to create and continuously improve learning programs. These programs will utilize a variety of creative approaches grounded in learning science to inspire learners and enhance productivity. This role involves developing both self- and instructor-led training for our global Customer Service associates. The ideal candidate should be innovative, adaptable, and open to new methods. They must also be capable of earning trust, managing stakeholders, and proactively solving problems. Experience in analyzing data to identify pain points and developing content strategies to address these issues is essential. This position requires working in the office five days a week. Key responsibilities include: Utilizing appropriate tools and delivery methods to produce blended learning materials that promote self-study, practice, performance support, socialization, and knowledge sharing. Assisting with needs analysis to design accessible, scalable, and effective learning solutions for diverse modalities and a global audience. Applying a deep understanding of various learner roles and operational programs to ensure learning solutions meet business and learner needs. Implementing evaluation strategies to measure learner outcomes and impact on business metrics. Developing comprehensive training and design plans to monitor progress and communicate with stakeholders. Managing multiple projects effectively through prioritization. Collaborating with teams and subject matter experts to support product and service launches and updates. Keeping abreast of new learning approaches, technologies, and tools. Basic qualifications: At least 2 years of experience designing training content such as eLearning courses, instructor-led materials, job aids, system simulations, and multimedia products. Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond) to create engaging learning experiences. Strong project management skills, including planning, multitasking, and meeting deadlines. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical topics clearly and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Experience coordinating global initiatives, including localization of training content. Bachelor’s degree, industry certifications, or equivalent experience in learning design, science, or related fields. A portfolio demonstrating experience with course authoring tools and instructional design is required during the hiring process. Preferred qualifications: Graduate degree in relevant fields. Experience in customer service or delivery organizations. Ability to use learning data for continuous improvement. Experience with Scrum development cycles.
