Position: Pipeline Technologies Service Lead Responsibilities include: Project Preparation & Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and timelines; Review tendering outputs at project start; Prepare budgets (up to €141 million) and payment schemes, ensuring project completion within financial constraints; Challenge team and departments on budgets and schedules; Monitor procurement and logistics plans; Report project changes; Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies; Propose operational, technical, or safety optimizations. Technical Oversight: Ensure pipeline technologies meet client, industry standards, and project goals; Oversee qualification, preparation, and operation of all project phases; Coordinate technical support from vendors and yards; Review technical documentation; Verify procedures and technical proposals before qualification; Promote innovative and sustainable pipeline technologies. Operations Readiness: Develop KPIs balancing welding, NDT, and FJC cycle times; Align productivity targets pre-production; Monitor pipeline construction readiness steps. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to legal and environmental regulations; Manage safety protocols to protect workers; Maintain high standards for technical quality during installation and testing. Team Management & Communication: Lead cross-functional teams including pipeline technology leads, engineers, and stakeholders; Ensure clear communication across teams and with external parties; Manage resources for efficient project completion; Report progress to senior management and stakeholders. Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering; Proficiency in English; 3-5 years of relevant experience; Knowledge of environmental, safety, and industry regulations; Leadership and communication skills; Problem-solving abilities.
