As a Technical Project Manager at Ascom in Florence, Italy, you will be responsible to manage all projects involving the development of new drivers to integrate Digistat software with medical devices (pulmonary ventilators, patient monitors, infusion pumps, hemodialysis machines, etc..). You will be the intermediary between the R&D; department and Ascom regions and partners (like Philips, GE, BBraun, Mindray, etc..), to allow R&D; to successfully deliver and validate new drivers. Your technical expertise is crucial to digest and prepare the R&D; department for development, your project management skills are fundamental to control and manage multiple projects in parallel, setting the right expectations and deadlines. Communication skills (and a good English level) are a strong catalyzer during daily activities. During the onboarding phase, and the months after, you will become a subject-matter expert in medical device integration.

What you will do:

- Manage medical device integration projects involving Ascom Digistat R&D;

- Be involved in the definition of the scope and the schedule of new integration projects

- Manage integration projects and communicate updates about project status to all stakeholders

- Schedule and prioritize tasks on existing medical device integrations

- Perform preliminary analysis for new integrations and new medical device protocol versions

- Act as the interface between Ascom and medical device vendors

- Verify that validation process (in the regions) is properly followed and completed

You have:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Science, Telecommunications or Biomedical engineering

- Proven experience (2 years minimum) in project management

- Professional English (spoken and written) and strong communication skills

- A good technical knowledge about IT networking
