Overview
Our client is part of a leading international company in the services sector. For the Italian branch we are looking for the :
Finance Director
Responsibilities
* Establish finance as a true ‘business partner’; provide real value through the provision of quality, timely and accurate information, highlighting issues and trends;
* Ensure external reporting is of the highest quality – group reporting, statutory accounts and other presentations as needed;
* Act as financial advisor to the Country Manager, supporting strategic decisions (expansion, investments, M&A, new academies).
* Maintain strong coordination with the corporate finance team, ensuring consistency in policies, processes, and reporting.
* Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring robust financial governance.
* Manage and develop the local finance team, fostering talent and capabilities.
* Drive improvements in financial systems and tools, contributing to global efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has already had a strong financial / accounting experience within an international, dynamic, fast growing scaleup company operating within services sector. Experience in VAT exempt businesses is a plus.
We’d like to meet analytical and structured person with strong communication skills, good planning and coordination skills, able to motivate and encourage colleagues in professional network.
Fluent English strictly requested.
