Ph3Sirio – Global Express XRS First Officer /h3 pSirio, a premier global aircraft management company, is seeking a Global Express XRS First Officer to join our dynamic team. Our success is attributed to the dedication of our team of over 100 talented aviation professionals, strategically positioned around the world. /p h3What Impact Will You Have? /h3 pAs a First Officer at Sirio, you are the embodiment of our commitment to providing not only technically accurate and safe transportation but also delivering a world‑class service experience for all passengers. In this role, you will seamlessly wear multiple hats, transitioning from a professional aviator to an in‑flight service provider, ensuring a concierge service level experience. bThe successful candidate must be willing to be based in Bologna, Italy. /b /p pYou will be dedicated support for a Global Express XRS contributing to a team of 5 pilots operating a 10/7 schedule with reasonable flexibility for a managed aircraft flying client and charter operations. /p h3Overview of Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure the safe and efficient execution of assigned flight schedules, adhering to all regulatory and manufacturer's guidelines. /li liPersonally welcome and engage with passengers pre‑flight, providing detailed briefings on the trip, confirming itineraries, offering weather updates, and explaining any changes. /li liServe as a dedicated liaison between passengers and Sirio throughout the entire journey, from arrival at the FBO to safe departure from the final destination FBO. /li liDeliver impeccable in‑flight service, including the responsible handling of alcohol, catering service, and meticulous loading and stowing of all baggage. /li liUphold the cabin's integrity by performing thorough cleaning, organization, and stocking procedures before each trip. /li liFlexibly undertake additional responsibilities as assigned based on specific assignments. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liWorking knowledge of all applicable EASA Regulations. /li liStrong organisational skills advanced multi‑tasking abilities. /li liStrong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills are necessary to perform job at the expected level. /li liComputer skills necessary to operate word processing, email and web‑based applications. /li liMust possess a passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmosphere. /li liPresent a well‑groomed appearance. /li /ul h3Education Experience /h3 pMust meet the following requirements: /p ul liValid EASA ATPL (UK CAA ATPL Medical desirable but not mandatory). /li li1,500 hours Total Time. /li li500 hours Pilot in Command Under Supervision time. /li li250 hours Multi Pilot Instrument Time. /li liME-IR (A) on EASA License. /li liMCC Course certificate or MP Rating on EASA License. /li liHold an advanced UPRT qualification or have completed, within the preceding 3 years, the training and checking in accordance with points ORO.FC.220 or ORO.FC.230 of Annex III (Part‑ORO) to Regulation (EU) NO 965‑2012. /li liValid EASA Class 1 Medical. /li liHold a valid EU‑Passport. /li liEnglish Language Proficiency (ELP), minimum level 5. /li liBachelor’s Degree preferred. /li liPrevious experience in Commercial Air Transport and Corporate operations desirable. /li liMust possess the legal right to work in Europe and/or the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of Europe and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves. /li liAbility to work weekends, nights, shifts, holidays and overnight trips. /li liEmployment is conditional upon successful completion of Initial Training that includes a Type Rating on the assigned fleet. /li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 pThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. /p pWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration; chemicals including aviation fuels and lavatory fluid. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. /p h3Physical Requirements /h3 pIn addition to the requirements required to hold a Class 1 Medical certificate, the Pilot must be able to complete the day‑to‑day tasks associated with the operation of an airplane. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading of bags, accomplish a thorough pre‑flight and post flight, and assist with snow and ice removal during inclement weather, installation and the removal of engine covers and the daily cleaning of aircraft as required.
