Lead the organisation’s operations to achieve the highest level of productivity and net profit, quality standards and cost control through an effective PL strategic planning, resource development and innovative solutions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOversee MDM Group operations to secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth. /li liDirect the organisation's yearly strategic business plans, which enable the achievement of MDM Group's mission and objectives. /li liLead the development and implementation of all operations’ activities, including the Business Units/ Divisions. /li liLead the development of new business opportunities, new developments and/or the organisation’s re-engineering process. /li liLeading the operations management review meeting to ensure the implementation is done on time, effectively and efficiently as per the company vision, policy, rules and regulations. /li liLead the development of the operations division's objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, providing formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to ensure that the highest level of performance is achieved. /li liEnsure the uniform implementation across all divisions of all relevant operational policies and procedures in order to deliver a quality, cost-effective service to internal and external customers. /li liLead cost optimisation initiatives/projects within the organization as well as assigned divisions. /li liDirect the development of the company's business network, supply chain management, source allocation and share service activities. /li liMonitor organization and performance through the Key Performance Indicator “KPI” of the operations against defined targets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are timely addressed. /li liDirect warehouses logistics activities to ensure that customers receive high quality service within agreed timescales and at minimum cost to the business. /li liExecute the organization’s policies and procedures for the Operations functions. /li liExercise efficient supervision and control over the company operations through effective service standards, regulations, safety norms, and quality standards. /li liAdopt various state of the art technologies to optimize resources and improve efficiency. /li liAudit and approve consultants, outsourcing contractors in coordination with the respective divisions. /li liUtilize and mobilize available company resources, through liaison with support divisions, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective quality work. /li liRepresent MDM Group in relevant local and international conferences and activities in relation to operational work and as per need and instructed. /li liParticipate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.) /li liPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as assigned by the CEO. /li /ul h3Qualifications and Skills /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Business Administration. /li li10+ years of experience in managing an operations function in an organization. /li liStrong organizational skills, business development, project management and auditing skills. /li liDemonstrate excellent knowledge of operational management and procedure, employee development, financial, budgeting, PL and strategic planning processes. /li liFluency in spoken and written English.
