You will translate strategy into team objectives, manage global suppliers, and drive performance on cost, quality, delivery and sustainability.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to simplify supply chains, innovate, and align processes with Atlas Copco culture.
This is an opportunity to shape procurement and supplier networks at scale while contributing to the company’s growth.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a purchasing team (8 members) and translate strategic goals into actionable objectivesMonitor performance against Atlas Copco’s cultural behaviors and KPIs in sustainability, TCO, delivery, quality and financialsSimplify supply chains, rationalize suppliers, standardize components and drive innovationManage global suppliers and support new projects; negotiate contracts, pricing and termsSupport IT system integration and cross-functional process alignment; shift focus to value-added activitiesAnalyze product specs to define sourcing strategies and ensure procurement aligns with forecasts and service plansDevelop suppliers to meet evolving standards and regulations; build a vendor network delivering defect-free components at competitive pricesLead projects to improve profitability, quality, and time-to-marketEvaluate suppliers using Atlas Copco standards (financial, technical, quality, logistics, cost)QualificationsStrong xjrgpwk experience in sourcing within manufacturingStrong expertise in procurement and supplier managementProven leadership and stakeholder managementExcellent negotiation and communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)A challenging opportunity to grow both soft and hard skillsStrategic involvement in decisions impacting sustainability and profitabilityOpportunity to contribute to the Product Company's growth and network across Atlas Copco Group
