Stern Energy S.p.A., a dynamic Italian company and a leading provider of technical and management services for renewable energy plants from photovoltaic sources, operating in six European countries and managing a portfolio of over 2.0 GWp, is looking for a:
Junior Controller
to join the company’s Controlling Department, reporting directly to the Head of Group Controlling.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Collect and analyze economic, financial, and management data to monitor business performance;
* Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and business plans;
* Take part in the monthly closing process, supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly Consolidated Group Reporting and periodic reports for management and internal stakeholders;
* Collaborate with subsidiaries for data collection and reconciliations;
* Assist in the preparation of key financial reports and compliance checks when required;
* Conduct variance analyses between actuals, budget, and forecasts;
* Analyze the financial performance of different Business Units and Countries;
* Provide support to various Business Units in controlling activities (Project Controlling);
* Support the preparation of periodic reports, KPIs, and ad hoc analyses for Top Management, aimed at monitoring performance, optimizing costs, and improving operational efficiency.
Requirements & Skills
* Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management/Industrial Engineering;
* 1–2 years of experience in Accounting and/or Controlling;
* Excellent knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office suite;
* Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
* Basic knowledge of ERP and BI tools is considered a plus;
* Strong analytical mindset, structured approach, and results-driven mindset;
* Ability to meet deadlines and strong problem-solving skills;
* Team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills;
