Overview
Program Managers lead projects for cross‑functional teams focused on the delivery of a new feature or services to Amazon customers. They gather business requirements, document functional and technical specifications, identify appropriate technical processes needed, execute and manage large‑scale configurations through both manual and automated processes, assemble the right technology and business teams, and develop the milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the new initiative for the expansion of Amazon transportation network. Program Managers contribute cross‑functional business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade‑offs, and balance the business needs with the technical constraints. They rely heavily on influence over authority to drive project deliverables. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—enable a Program Manager to facilitate the flow of information between internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team
* Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
* Creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for operational excellence
* Show high ownership and institute process improvements wherever needed
* Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams that create and enhance software systems and tools
* Handle escalations or variance in information, providing resolutions to relevant owners and teams and following through to ensure delivery
* Possess a natural curiosity and desire to learn
* Own projects end‑to‑end and work on cross‑functional teams
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming privacy‑related requests through established channels, coordinate with various teams to ensure timely request fulfillment, and maintain detailed documentation
* Coordinate with business units, legal, compliance, and technical teams; collaborate with relevant stakeholders; and manage escalations effectively
* Maintain thorough documentation and perform quality assurance reviews
* Track key performance metrics and trends, preparing and presenting regular performance reports
* Maintain operational procedures and guidelines, identify opportunities for process enhancement, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Handle day‑to‑day management of incoming privacy requests, oversee data collection and verification processes, drive escalations, participate in team meetings, and contribute to documentation updates
Basic Qualifications
* 2+ years of program or project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in data analysis and reporting
* Experience in an HR, privacy, legal, compliance, or risk management role
