The Global Commodity Manager serves as the interface between the Business Area and related industries. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies, research to find the best products and suppliers, and recommend innovations to improve quality. The role demands market awareness, negotiation skills, and risk management capabilities. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain strategic, sustainable relationships with key suppliers to optimize sourcing activities. Set long-term objectives and plans, including supplier development to meet Electrolux standards for cost, quality, delivery, new product launches, service, conduct, and environmental compliance. Balance cost, volume, and quality considerations to secure long-term supply and meet performance criteria. Lead supplier innovation initiatives and integrate them into Electrolux. Build strong relationships with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, Operations, IT, Finance, Marketing, and HR. Monitor and report key metrics to reduce costs and enhance effectiveness. Manage risks related to supply contracts and agreements. Adapt to a multicultural, dynamic work environment. Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Make decisive actions under pressure, managing demanding targets and deadlines. Be self-motivated, methodical, and results-driven. At least 10 years of relevant procurement experience in commodities, preferably electrical, within a multinational environment. Experience in related fields such as logistics, manufacturing, or R&D is advantageous. Willingness to travel. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
