We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Maintenance Engineering Specialist to support the Mozambique LNG development. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of instrumentation systems during both the engineering phase and site execution. You will safeguard technical integrity, optimize maintenance strategies, support contractor performance, and contribute to continuous improvement of plant reliability.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure safe execution of all instrumentation maintenance activities and enforce HSE compliance.Oversee and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance plans, schedules, and documentation.Provide expert technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and support reliability improvements.Lead or coordinate reporting, KPI tracking, and performance reviews.Participate in incident reviews, HAZOPs, audits, and risk assessments.Manage vendor and contractor activities, ensuring quality and contract compliance.Support spare parts strategy, stock evaluation, and material justification.Contribute to instrumentation modifications and continuous improvement initiatives.RequirementsDegree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or similar field.Extensive oil & gas maintenance experience, including LNG plant exposure.Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, ATEX/IECEx), and control systems.Proficiency in CMMS (SAP), engineering documentation, and computer applications.Strong English communication skills and ability to support multi‐disciplinary teams.The next stepWe have an exceptional team in place, and we are pleased to be able to appoint a further person to our growing business.
