Job Description
You will be working on the OTOS SW project, contributing to the design, development, testing, and evolution of the products.
Our team is involved in SW development for a new line of products (OTOS) to address new market requirements.
Your role will include contributing to the development, maintenance, and evolution of the SW in the Network Element, in cooperation with other optics sites in Europe and North America, and with our HW teams.

How You Will Contribute and What You Will Learn
* Work independently within broad guidelines, applying best practices and knowledge of business issues.
* Use discretion, specialist knowledge, analytical skills, and judgment to solve complex problems and improve processes.
* Analyze, design, develop, and test products/services/improvements/bug fixes for hardware/software systems as per customer requirements.
* Resolve customer trouble tickets, diagnose complex hardware/software issues, and recommend solutions.
* Develop SW/HW build-controlled releases, including main updates, service packs, and maintenance updates.
* Maintain quality standards and participate in process and tool improvements.
* Apply the SW Care process, especially emergency case handling, to restore problems quickly.
Key Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of C++, C#, Linux environment, and object-oriented modeling.
* Team-oriented working style.
* Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
* Interest in embedded SW development, including requirements analysis, design, and testing.
* Interest in innovative solutions and new technologies.
* Eager to learn.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Structured work approach with a focus on high-quality delivery.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel.
* Autonomous, proactive, and responsible attitude.
* German language skills are a plus.
