PF Manager at Zelestra
Location: Rome, Italy
Mission
Confirm bankability aspects of projects under development, procure and execute financing for assets under construction, and ensure loan compliance for projects under operation for the renewable energy projects in which Zelestras BU is involved.
Responsibilities
* Leading processes to obtain sources of financing for new projects in the BU, including the selection of financiers, coordination of due diligence, supervision of financial models, and negotiation of financing and project contracts.
* Support the BUs Commercial area by providing bankability review assessment for offtake opportunities.
* Support the BUs Product area by providing bankability review assessment for product strategies.
* Support the BUs Business Development area on a preliminary bankability and financing check of new projects.
* Oversee post-financing obligations, including loan compliance, covenant monitoring, and reporting to lenders.
* Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks across the portfolio.
* Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams across Italy and corporate headquarters.
* Ensure best practices and consistency in project finance and loan monitoring processes.
Job Requirements
Desired education:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
* Complementary education: CFA, MBA, or other relevant financial certification.
* English C1 proficiency.
Previous Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in project finance, structured finance, or corporate banking (preferably in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors).
* Proven track record leading complex debt financing transactions.
* Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel proficiency required).
* Solid understanding of loan documentation, covenants, and financial compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Italian.
* Experience managing lender relationships and financial reporting obligations.
* Previous experience working in international energy or infrastructure companies.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a hands‑on approach.
* Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
