We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead CMS & front end developer to join our Unit in Milan.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Director for the Commerce & Content Business Unit you will be responsible to integrate designs into scalable user interfaces in e-commerce and content solutions. During the delivery, you will be responsible forthe CMS and front-end architectural creation, activities estimations, technical design validation.
You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Back-End teams, DevOps to ensure that all solutions are optimized acting as a technical leader and be responsible for driving innovation and best practices.
Internally you will help provide assets and knowledge transfer to ensure the growth and scalability of our offerings as part of the CMS & Front-End team. You will provide support to team members and help develop their careers in alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop and maintain robust user interfaces using React/VueJS and Node
2. Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, and QA support
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the front-end is optimized for usability, accessibility, and performance
4. Build reusable components on CMS and front-end
5. Optimize code for performance and SEO
6. Discover and implement new technologies
7. Manage and prioritize the frontend team's backlog, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work
8. Mentor and upskill team members with modern technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
9. At least 6 years of relevant experience in front-end development, having managed a team of senior and junior developer
10. Must have experience developing CMS, Front-End and e-commerce solutions
11. At least 4 years of experience with the React ecosystem
12. Strong Knowledge of State Management and relevant workflows
13. In-depth knowledge of TypeScript, CSS, and HTML
14. Strong proficiency in Vanilla JavaScript and browser API
15. Experience with integration of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
16. Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
17. Good sense of User Experience and Design as a whole.
18. Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
19. Good experience with CI/CD paradigms and relevant workflows (GitHub actions, GitLab pipelines or similar)
20. Experience with git
21. Experience with Design Systems principles
22. English proficiency
Optional/Nice to have.
23. Familiarity with other frameworks such as Angular, Solid, and Svelte
24. Experience in Next.js and Vercel is a big plus
25. Familiarity with accessibility principles and patterns
26. Familiarity with E2E testing and relevant workflows
27. Familiarity with modern frontend tooling such as Webpack, Vite similar
28. Overview of current commerce and content management systems in the market
29. Keen eye on User Experience and Design as a whole
