affected communities and secure the goods and services required to support our operations in a timely and cost-effective manner, while maintaining fair and transparent processes.WFP procures the food and goods and services from a combination of sources; local, regional, and international based on the best option to achieve delivery in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.In 2021, an internal review of Goods and Services Procurement unit highlighted six areas of improvement for procurement: Operating model, Staff resourcing, Oversight mechanism, Vendor management, Procurement processes and Use of Technology.To address these gaps and other priorities, Procurement initiated a Procurement Business Process Review aimed at achieving six main objectives to optimize the current state and set-up more performant and efficient procurement processes & organization Professionalize procurement analytics capabilities, Set-up the right operating model, Establish the right organizational structure, Streamline processes, Leverage technology for end-to-end procurement support and Assess the appropriate staffing and resourcing requirements and adapt upskilling paths accordingly.As part of the target procurement operating model, Procurement requires an experienced Digital Transformation Lead – Supplier Relationship Management Consultant to spearhead the new SRM digital solution.As the SRM digital lead, you will be a subject matter expert collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to execute the establishment, modernization, and implementation of the SRM digital solution.This role will leverage knowledge of industry best practices to finetune the target model and system solution.You will partner with the IT Division, Business, Procurement Subject matter experts, and suppliers to develop and refine requirements and test solutions while acting as a change agent, engaging across the user base on training and adoption.The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in digital innovation and using their strong understanding of innovation processes and digital systems to improve organisational outcomes.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive) This position is based in WFP headquarters in Rome and reports to the Senior Procurement Officer in charge of the Procurement Business Process Review Project.Assess current state of SRM digital capabilities and define agreed target state working closely with TEC, the Digital Transformation Lead, Procurement subject matter experts and other Supply Chain digital capabilities stakeholders.Develop SRM digital capabilities mapping and lead the implementation of digitization actions to evolve the SRM digital capabilities towards the target state.Be responsible for automation architecture and the related technical decisions through to supervising the development and automation of business processes through designing and developing various types of applications across the end-to-end SRM process.Lead coordination of the solution technology provider and TEC to perform pre- implementation testing, and act as business focal point for new functionality / features communication and adoption.Lead the customization, testing, integration, and deployment of SRM software systems to ensure that specific business issues are solved.Manage the relationships and delivery with the systems integrator and software suppliers to ensure a smooth implementation and continued operation of the eProcurement suite.Own the data architecture for the function.Be responsible for data object definition and integration requirements.Define data migration and data maintenance solution approaches.Be responsible together with end-to-end team for data migration strategy definition, lifecycle and sign off.Analyze SRM process issues and development of solutions, prioritize objectives, and contribute to project planning and status reporting.Work with client units and staff to enhance the solution performance to increase adoption and increase usability.As a subject matter expert on SRM digitization, you will lead and contribute to the improvement and transformation of source to receipt processes aligned to the digital target operating model.Working with the solution integrator, manage the deployment of the SRM solution globally including the following: Development of deployment plans, manage and track implementation activities and budget, coordinate with change management lead to ensure approach meets desired outcomes, identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Project risks and track progress and implement mitigation actions.Provide regular update on progress against KPI.Other SRM technology related duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY REQUIREMENTS Education: You have: Advanced university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Development, Business Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent, or else first University degree, supplemented by additional years of experience and specialized training e.g.Certified Digital Transformation Leader (CDTL) and Certified Digital Transformation Professional (CDTP).Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in roles that are related to project management, business strategy, IT consulting, and digital transformation with a focus on leading and implementing successfully delivered large-scale procurement transformation and integration projects with excellence.Language: You have: Fluency (level C) in the English language Intermediate knowledge (level B) of French and Spanish is highly desirable.MORE ABOUT YOU You have: Deep understanding of the end-to-end Procurement process including Source to Contract, Procure to Pay, Spend Analytics and Supplier Performance Management Experience of designing, developing and rolling out collaborative supplier relationship management programmes, delivering added value to organisations.Experience in implementation and maintenance of Supplier Management Systems (specifically Coupa) across multiple entities working with various business stakeholders.Certification in implementation of any SAAS (complete upstream / downstream certified is preferred) and knowledge across both upstream and downstream modules is required.Ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload whilst balancing both operationally urgent and important tasks to deliver to deadlines aligned with strong project management capabilities gained through practical professional experience.Experience working and effectively influencing senior stakeholders, with or without authority, projecting personal impact and credibility at all levels of the organisation and the external market, demonstrating an ability to influence, persuade and effectively communicate.Evidence of inspirational and inclusive leadership, developing a professional culture and empowering team members through coaching, mentoring and sharing of expertise/knowledge.Proficiency integrating ERP systems with databases.Experience in test management solutions and tools including preparing test plans, test scenarios & test scripts, UAT Cutover Plans and an overall deployment approach.Experience in handling post implementation support, resolving critical issues, system stabilization and handling change management.
