Field Service Engineer\nThis position will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites and generate service revenue for imaging systems, (starting with CT and Image Guided Therapy) within an assigned geographical area (Emilia Romagna).\nResponsibilities\n\nBuild credibility and trust with customers by conducting pro-active customer visits.\nProvide appropriate, timely, and regular communications to customer and internal key stakeholders regarding customer and equipment issues.\nDemonstrate a sense of urgency to identify and resolve customer issues. Follow the appropriate escalation process.\nProvide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements, setting clear expectations, meeting commitments and arrival times. Understand customer's business and competitive environment.\nManage company assets effectively in accordance with established Philips processes and guidelines including labour time, parts ordering and returns, tools and test equipment calibration, purchase orders, equipment, company vehicles, business expenditures, etc.\nMust be qualified and perform work in at least one modality, but may be asked to become qualified in and perform work in multiple modalities. Maintains knowledge of technical advances and current industry trends, seeking out formal and informal training opportunities.\nIndependently resolve equipment and customer issues.\n\nQualifications\n\nBA Degree or High school graduate or vocational certification in electronics, biomedical equipment servicing/engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in the electronics industry, preferably in a Health Tec environment.\n2-3 years of experience in biomedical environment in the technical service segment.\nUnderstand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose and repair equipment including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.\nStrong organizational skills, self-disciplined and the ability to work independently.\nAbility to effectively operate in a team driven environment to achieve assigned goals and objectives.\nAbility to adapt to changing work requirements in a complex, fast-paced environment.\nOral and written communication skills in English in addition to Italian as local language.\n\nHow we work together\nWe believe that we are better together than apart.
