Job Duties / Responsibilities:
* Project Management and Cross-functional Coordination: Lead the NPI Execution team, manage project planning, schedules, risks, issues, and ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables. Provide high-quality reporting on project status, risks, and issues. Maintain communication across the supply chain to align product strategies during NPI development. Drive cross-functional efforts to optimize supply chain operations considering risks and demand changes.
* Sourcing Strategy and Supply Chain Risk Mitigation: Onboard suppliers for new technologies and NPIs, develop dual sourcing strategies to mitigate risks, and architect supply chains that meet quality, delivery, and value expectations based on input from key stakeholders. Manage NPI sourcing strategies from development to execution.
* Cost Management and DFx / SDR: Analyze BOM costs to identify reduction opportunities, facilitate early supplier engagement to improve manufacturability and lead times, and track implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
* Planning and Production Transfer: Manage ramp readiness, ensure successful production transitions, meet program goals, and mitigate risks. Provide guidance on component selection to meet technical, quality, and compliance standards while managing obsolescence and supply concerns.
Key Relationships: Engineering, Program Manager, Commodity Manager, Supplier Quality Engineer, Product Line Manager, Planner, Buyer, Contract Manufacturing, Suppliers.
Qualifications / Education / Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; up to 5 years of relevant experience; understanding of program milestones, design/development gating; proficiency in MS Office; excellent communication, analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills; leadership ability and people management experience.
Preferences: Experience in supplier development, project management certification, technical or master's degree, knowledge of SDR/PFEP/Kaizen, ERP systems, PLM, Agile methodologies.
