As
Vessel Operations Engineer
, you will join our Department
VECOP
conducting the following activities:
How can you support us?
* Ensure compliance with QA/QC&HSE requirements
* Assist in the timely preparation of department documentation, procedures and reports
* Assist and monitoring the timely issuance of department documentation, procedures and reports
* Review Department documentation reporting errors/omissions, suggest improvements
* Verify that procedures are correct and most efficient/cost effective solutions are followed
* Assist in the collection of vessel documentation
* Assist the process of standardization of processes and documents
* Maintain and update the department archive portal
* Assist to ensure the assignation of the crew onboard to meet the best Quality and Safety Standard
* Assist to support the selection of the right resources on the base of the complexity of the vessel and the required operation to be performed
* Ensure the continuity of the crew avoiding vessel shortcomings while ensuring vessel requirements and project's needs
* Support core processes and activities
* Support the recruitment and selection as per competence through the dedicated HR Department and/or individual Seafarer Recruitment and Placement Service Providers
* Ensure vessel crew planning is effective in order to manage the personnel pool
* Suggest methodologies and tools which to guide and standardize the vessel manning activities within its remit
* Monitor vessel manning levels ensuring full compliance compatibility with the vessel's maintenance needs, operation and owner requirements
* Guarantee data uploading in the dedicated Information Systems and perform regular audits on the integrity and correctness of the data received
* Support activities for Information System implementation
