About the Role:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in Italy, developing strong relationships with existing and new customers, and identifying opportunities to expand our presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate with existing customers to meet their needs and expectations.
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in Italy.
* Act as a key account manager for assigned international clients.
* Deliver offers and quotes to existing and prospective customers.
* Report to the Sales Director Europe on sales activities and progress.
Main Activities:
* Develop sales strategies for our products and services in the Italian market.
* Collect necessary information for sales contracts and agreements.
* Collaborate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions for customers.
* Pursue new business opportunities, particularly in replacing polyamide compounds.
* Negotiate best terms of sale with company management.
* Manage customer rates and issue sample and test requests.
* Nurture long-term customer relationships through effective communication and relationship-building.
* Monitor and control contract application and sales volumes with assigned customers.
* Identify, anticipate, and manage customer and financial risks.
* Serve as an interface between customers and various departments within the organization.
* Support the technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
* Provide regular updates on sales activities, customer situations, and sample exchanges to company management.
Your Profile:
* Demonstrate knowledge and effective use of various sales and negotiation techniques.
* Have detailed knowledge of our technical possibilities and product advantages.
* Show good understanding of the plastics industry and plastics processing, especially injection molding, with a proven track record of successful account management.
* Demonstrate analytical mindset and ability to adjust to changing market conditions.
* Exhibit strong decision-making skills, able to identify and mitigate potential problems with customers.
* Display strong interpersonal skills, allowing effective communication internally and externally at different levels and with different departments.
* Utilize excellent time management and priority setting skills, with a self-propelled attitude.
* Effectively use MS Office and ERP system.
* Speak fluently in both Italian and English.
