The ER Manager is a key role within the EU Employee Experience and Relations (EXR) Field organization, reporting to the Country EXR organization. The role requires significant employee and labor relations experience, deep subject matter expertise, and strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
The responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to address country labor relations challenges, collaborating with operational teams, and acting as a strategic partner for various internal stakeholders. The focus is on driving operational excellence, managing complex labor issues, and ensuring compliance within the country.
The position is based in Italy, with flexible locations in Rome or Naples. It involves up to 50% travel.
Key responsibilities include:
* Labour Relations Strategy: Supporting strategy creation, executing business line goals, risk mitigation, monitoring the internal and external labor environment, stakeholder collaboration, and project management.
* Operational Excellence: Using data for recommendations, ensuring compliance, developing innovative solutions, maintaining positive workplace culture, site visits, and reporting.
* Leadership Capabilities: Supporting strategic development, translating business needs into EXR plans, building partnerships, problem-solving, effective communication, and crisis management.
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience in employee or labor relations, with knowledge of Italian labor law.
* Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Labour Relations, or an MBA.
* Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in distribution, logistics, or transportation industries.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to navigate complex international structures and work in fast-paced environments.
