Job Scope
The Assistant HR Manager handles diverse HR functions such as staffing, employee relations, training, payroll, and strategic initiatives. You will work independently and with teams, supporting senior management and contributing to organizational goals.
Responsibilities
* Manage HR functions in Dubai, including recruitment, benefits, performance, and employee engagement.
* Develop and implement HR strategies to improve effectiveness in UAE.
* Ensure accurate payroll and HR data management.
* Maintain HR records and reports.
* Enhance employee productivity and engagement.
* Build relationships within the organization and support HR initiatives.
* Support change management and HR projects across Italy operations.
* Collaborate with leadership to foster a strong management culture.
* Implement engagement and performance improvement strategies.
* Visit field locations to build relationships and understand operational needs.
* Assist in talent management, succession planning, and employee recognition.
* Lead organizational change initiatives and design organizational structures.
* Model company culture and lead by example.
* Conduct regular one-on-one meetings for communication and goal alignment.
* Manage offboarding processes and exit procedures.
* Possess knowledge of collective bargaining environments.
* Support talent sourcing and onboarding activities.
* Analyze HR data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
* Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
* Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires.
* Assist with staffing procedures and documentation.
* Support ad-hoc HR projects as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
* 7-8 years of HR experience in large, fast-paced organizations.
* Experience in hospitality or travel industries preferred.
* Experience in policy development and enforcement advantageous.
* Independent, proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented.
* Knowledge of management principles.
* Strong team player with a commitment to quality and deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS, and payroll systems.
* Excellent English, Italian skills; additional languages a plus.
