Quantyx, leading and independent risk management and valuation consultancy for alternative investment management companies, is looking for an Analyst to join its 17-member Real Estate Team.
Job Description
The Real Estate Team is responsible for performing financial and business analyses of investments in the Italian and foreign Real Estate Market carried out by Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). The candidate will be involved in analytical activities, contributing to real estate valuation and investment processes, with a focus on non-core/secondary assets across the Italian markets.
From day one, the candidate will be involved in the following tasks:
- Valuation of real estate assets using industry-standard methodologies (DCF, Income Approach, Market Comparables);
- Analysis of asset-level data, cash flows and key assumptions;
- Market research activities, with a focus on secondary and non-core real estate segments;
- Preparation of valuation reports and client deliverables.
Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the financial analysis of while contributing to the assessment of risk profiles of Alternative Investment Funds across their lifecycle. Specifically:
* Portfolio risk-return analysis and ongoing performance monitoring;
* Assessment of operational risks of Alternative Investment Funds;
* Review of Business Plans, investment opportunities and exit strategies.
Requirements
* 1-2 years of experience in real estate, advisory, valuation or financial analysis
* Strong academic background and solid analytical and numerical skills;
* Solid understanding of real estate fundamentals;
* Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and meet deadlines;
* Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset;
* Commitment to stand out and maintain high professional and ethical standards;
* Fluency in English;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, Power Point);
Nice to Have
* Previous experience or coursework in real estate sector;
* Familiarity with financial modeling and Discounted Cash Flow Analysis;
* Interest in non-core/opportunistic real estate investments.
