Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the design and development of embedded software for avionics display systems such as PFD, MFD, touchscreen controls, and helmet‑mounted displays using Model‑Based Design methodologies.- Implement graphics for touchscreen displays with a proper HMI, emphasizing flight‑test operations pilot workload.- Manage the software life cycle in accordance with applicable standards (DO‑178C, DO‑331, ARP‑4754A).- Integrate application software onto target systems.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of hardware, software, and system engineering.- Define software requirements.Qualifications- Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, Automation, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering).- Proven experience with MATLAB/Simulink and software development in C/C++.- Knowledge of real‑time safety‑critical embedded software development aspects.- Interest in Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) aspects.Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.- Clear and structured communication in technical environments.- Proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.Seniority & LocationSeniority: Primary location – IT, Varese, Cascina Costa.
