Ph3Job Summary /h3 pThe Part-Time Sort Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting and supervising inbound and outbound sort operations at the Fiumicino Gateway. This role ensures efficient flow of packages and ULDs, monitors shuttle activities, and coordinates operational execution in alignment with service, safety, and compliance standards. The incumbent will work closely with the operations team leader and onsite vendor representatives to achieve on-time performance and maintain operational excellence across all shifts. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupervise inbound and outbound sort operations, ensuring adherence to established procedures and service standards. /li liOversee ULD loading and unloading activities, ensuring safe and efficient handling. /li liMonitor volume availability and ensure optimal resource utilization during sort cycles. /li liTrack shuttle arrivals and coordinate timely dispatch in line with operational schedules. /li liPerform routine office tasks before and after operations, including documentation and reporting. /li liCoordinate daily operational activities with Team Leader and/or onsite vendor representatives. /li liAccept and process Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with company and regulatory standards (training provided by UPS). /li liEnsure on-time closure of sort operations and on-time shuttle departures. /li liMaintain strict adherence to safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment. /li liEnsure accurate and timely reporting of operational activities and performance metrics. /li liUphold company standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions. /li /ul h3Qualifications Requirements /h3 ul liHigh school diploma and/or university degree required. /li liProficiency in English language written and verbal (Mandatory) /li liProven accountability in team-oriented environments. /li liStrong analytical, problem-solving, and basic research skills. /li liExcellent oral and written communication abilities. /li liHigh attention to detail and strong time management skills. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). /li liValid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. /li liDemonstrated ethical conduct and professional behavior toward team members and the organization. /li liAvailability to work very early morning and late evening shifts, including holidays. /li /ul h3Working Hours (Split Shift) /h3 ul liMorning Shift ul liMonday: 04:00 – 08:00 /li liTuesday to Friday: 04:30 – 08:30 /li /ul /li liEvening Shift (Monday to Friday) ul li19:00 – 23:00 /li /ul /li /ul h3Key Performance Expectations /h3 ul liOn-time sort completion /li liOn-time shuttle departure performance /li liCompliance with safety standards /li liAccuracy and timeliness of reporting activities /li /ul h3Employment Type /h3 pPermanent /p h3EEO Statement /h3 pUPS si impegna a seguir una politica di trattamento equo delle persone e di reclutamento, selezione, formazione, promozione e retribuzione in base al merito, all’esperienza e ad altri criteri relativi al lavoro.
