Mission Details
We are seeking a Scientist to work on innovation, product development and optimization of our lamination adhesives product range in Europe. PhD Chemist with 8-10 years’ experience in the adhesive industry, ideally lamination adhesives, and preferably with first leadership experience to manage small R&D; teams.
The role reports to the European R&D; Manager of AP&C; Laminating Adhesives and is based in Mozzate (CO).

KNOW HOW
- PhD Chemist with 8-10 years’ experience in the adhesive industry, ideally lamination adhesives, and preferably with first leadership experience to manage small R&D; teams
- Knowledge and experience in the design of polyurethane, polyester and acrylics, preferably around lamination adhesive for flexible food packaging and/or industrial application.
- Profound understanding about adhesion theory and reaction kinetics, especially related to polyurethane chemistry and polyester.
- Understands the requirements/challenges for improved sustainability and recyclability of flexible packaging.
- Good understanding about statistical methods and analysis
- Knows, how to apply Design of Experiment techniques
- Excellent communication skills & stake holder management
- Able to set up new research equipment, plan and execute experimental program.
