Partner with the best /p h3Role summary /h3 pThe focus of this role is to negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. /p h3As a /h3 ul liForging / Machined parts Commodity Manager / Buyer /li liyou will be responsible for : /li liDefining supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels. /li liLeading negotiations and allocating needs to specific suppliers. /li liNegotiating terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement. /li liManaging claims, commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, purchasing activities /li liAdvising functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field. /li liHandling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordinating services rendered. /li liContributing to project as a team member or leads small projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results / impact is typically 2-12 months after the event. /li /ul h3To be successful in this role you will need to have : /h3 ul liBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED) /li liAt least 4 years of experience in Sourcing /li liMinimum of 3 additional years of experience in Commodity Management /li liStrong oral, written communication skills both in Italian and English /li liand strong interpersonal skills /li liAbility to travel around 20% of the job (1-2 days at the time) within Italy /li liGood leadership skills, ability to influence others and lead small teams. /li liAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneously. /li liEffective problem identification and solution skills. /li liProven analytical and organizational ability. /li /ul h3Working for you /h3 pOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
