About the Role
* Implement a government donor engagement plan on social protection to identify and strengthen partnerships aligned with WFP's objectives.
* Position WFP's value proposition in social protection with partners, develop tailored engagement materials, and support coherent partner engagement across the organization.
* Guide units and regional offices on partnership strategies, proposal development, and best practices; update programming portfolios and funding needs.
* Maintain up-to-date donor intelligence and promote use of key information systems.
* Coordinate the Social Protection Trust Fund, ensuring donor relations and reporting are met.
* Manage the social protection partnerships portfolio, including partner profiling, data analysis, and outreach planning to maximize opportunities.
* Support corporate dialogue with partners, highlighting strategic opportunities and advising senior management.
* Assist in designing partnership proposals, negotiations, and agreements, ensuring partner visibility and compliance.
* Support WFP's positioning with governments and institutions in countries where WFP operates, based on socio-political insights.
* Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for a candidate with:
* At least 8 years of experience in partnership roles, with expertise in social protection policy, financing, and programming.
* A degree in International Development, Economics, International Relations, Social Protection, or a related field.
* Fluency in English (Level C) and knowledge of Spanish, French, or Arabic is a strong asset.
