WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Cloud & DevOps Engineer - ESA Missions Location: Rome | Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days remote) Join our client’s elite team in Rome, supporting European space and government missions with over 30 years of expertise in IT and space services. You will oversee real-time mission operations, system integrity, and optimize cloud infrastructure for ESA satellite missions. YOUR TASKS • Oversee real-time monitoring and operation of ESA missions in cloud environments. • Diagnose, resolve, and prevent operational issues with proactive monitoring and automation. • Analyze system performance and implement improvements. • Develop scripts for automation of infrastructure and mission operations. • Support software deployments, system integrations, and upgrades. • Maintain operational procedures and technical documentation. • Perform routine application maintenance for performance and security. YOUR SKILLS • Linux administration and troubleshooting expertise. • Shell scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.). • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization skills. • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls). • Experience in requirements analysis, project planning, and reporting. • Good command of English (B2 or higher). • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
