The proposal is completed by a collection of apparel and accessories of the leading sportswear brand and by two private clothing labels. Posizione: We are looking for the Junior Merchandise Planner. The primary purpose of this role is to manage buying, sales planning, markdowns and stock of the assigned department/product categories with the support of the Senior Department Planner/Planning Manager. The Merchandiser works closely with the buying function supporting the for the numeric side to ensure financial targets are achieved and customer needs are met. Main activities and responsabilities: Business Managment - Instigate ad-hoc analysis to achieve clarity of performance and propose commercial decisions which drive the business performance by product - Identify risks and opportunities - constantly review OTB requirements, action repeats, cancellations, markdowns and manage the key sales and profit drivers - Maintain a clear knowledge and awareness of the market and the competition Planning - Establish the best assortment plan to deliver balanced, commercial ranges by product area - Manage efficiently monthly intake plan - Manage efficiently sales forecast - Determine and Unit quantities - Realise order to brands Stock Control - Influence and deliver brand objectives for inventory - Manage the use of WSSI to deliver accurate plans/forecasts/stocks, ensuring that OTB and MD are controlled and flexed to deliver terminal stock targets - Make and communicate recode/return decisions to manage terminal stocks and option flow - Manage the critical path process to enable accurate intake forecasts and take action to mitigate issues KPI forecasting - Determine forecasts for sales, MD, ASP, OTB and margin - Plan, implement and report on markdown events - Develop and communicate supplier business/brand plans and forecasts Manage - Relationship with Merchandising - Relationship with Buyers - Relationship with Brands Requisiti: - Experience of minimum 2 year in the retail industry to at least Assistant Merchandising level - Highly numerate and analytical - Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel high skilled required) - Fluent English - Team Player - Result Orientation - Planning & Organizing - Initiative/Entrepreneur Altre informazioni: Timetable: - Full time Employment contract: - 1 year fixed term contract Working mode: - Possibility of working in smart working for part of the week after an initial period of training on site Workplace: - Limena (PD) - Italy
