Ph3Position Summary /h3pWe are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Calcinate (BG) who will be responsible and accountable for customer management, operational management, quality performance, HealthSafety, Security and Environmental management of the AST ITA Plant. The Operations Manager will provide regular and appropriate performance informations to STERIS Managers/Director and ensure compliance to all relevant Company and legal regulations. /ph3Duties /h3ulliEnsure safe operations of the plant and company by development of an effective safety culture, enforcement of safety practices in compliance to internal and external requirements and regulations. /liliIn conjunction with the (Senior) Sales Managers ensure the effective management of existing and new Customers and drive Customer satisfaction. /liliProvide Leadership to ensure continuous improvement of business processes and activities in line with STERIS world class safety objectives and the Quality management system. /liliManage and develop 20+ staff, allocate resources and assign specific duties to achieve pre- determined commercial and business objectives for the business in the plant /liliEnsure that the business operates within and towards the published STERIS Corporate vision and global objectives, including LEAN, 5S, Sustainability and One Team One Goal strategies. /liliApply to STERIS Values, culture and ethos managing the business, it’s Customers and staff. /li /ulh3Education Degree /h3ulliBachelor's Degree /li /ulh3Skilss Required Experience /h3ulliDemonstrated team leadership experience, even at an early career level. /liliProven technical capability /liliProven leadership qualities (leading by example) /liliAcute awareness of the importance of safety to the business /liliWilling to go the extra mile for our Customers (Customer First, always) /liliGood understanding of the principle of continuous improvement /liliWell-developed understanding of risk and risk avoidance /liliExcellent communication skills (both oral and written) /liliGood understanding of the local business market.
