Experteer Overview As Global BST Manager, Grid Automation, you lead a 40+ person IT team to support GRID Automation’s global businesses and digital IT transformation. You drive IT governance, demand management, and application/infrastructure delivery across BUs, ensuring alignment with global standards and business needs. You shape the IT roadmap, oversee budgets, and mentor a diverse, remote workforce across time zones. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on governance to enable sustainable energy ambitions.
Responsibilities
* Lead BU IT relationship management and BST leadership across functions
* Steer IT demand management to meet business requirements and govern BST IT organization
* Oversee application management for BU-specific apps and infrastructure/on-site service delivery
* Coordinate IT/OT cybersecurity onsite service delivery and operational management
* Drive digital transformation deployments to enable business growth
* Interface with IT partners to articulate BU needs and secure impactful support
* Align IT roadmap with business needs through stakeholder feedback and governance
* Define strategic IT priorities in line with BU strategy and initiatives
* Translate business strategy into IT opportunities and value
* Ensure compliance with global/local standards, tools, and processes
* Analyze audits and drive continuous improvement
* Act as BU escalation point for IT issues
* Oversee BST budget and transparency of IT costs
* Set standard documentation for audits and findings
* Share best practices across BST community
* Foster cross-functional communication between BU and IT
* Ensure HR-aligned staffing, skills development, and leadership of the area
* Guide, motivate, and develop subordinates within HR policy
Qualifications
* 15+ years xjrgpwk IT experience
* 10+ years in global, matrixed organizations with infrastructure, apps, and platforms understanding
* Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organized with attention to detail
* Proven success in matrixed environments
* Experience leading remote teams across multiple time zones
