Junior Legal Specialist – CMCC Position cod. 12803 Deadline: April 19th, 2026 Role The selected candidate will provide legal support and advice to the Foundation’s organizational units on all matters within the Unit’s scope of responsibility and, in particular, will handle the analysis, guidance, and oversight of various legal and contractual issues. Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate research contracts and any other agreements entered into by the Foundation with third parties. Manage, maintain, and improve workflows, processes, templates, and tools related to contract management. Maintain and monitor documentation, including archiving, data entry in the internal database, and deadline tracking. Conduct contract due diligence: identify legal and financial risks, verify regulatory compliance, evaluate opportunities, and provide insights for better negotiation or transaction decisions. Provide legal support, assistance, and advice to various research divisions and units on matters with legal implications. Prepare legal memos, reports, and responses to legal inquiries. Requirements Master’s degree in law. Minimum of 2 years of experience in-house counsel or within law firms, public entities, companies, or consulting firms, with strong expertise in drafting and negotiating contracts. Experience in the scientific research sector is preferred. Strong knowledge of civil law and administrative law. Excellent command of the Italian language, written and spoken. Very good knowledge of the English language. Accuracy, good analytical skills, and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive documents with discretion, strong ethical standards, and respect for privacy. Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
