A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of all clinical and scientific data for our products and maintains a deep understanding of the science behind our products.
- Nurtures deep, collegial relationships with key thought leaders, professional societies, and payers.
- Drives the adoption of tools and techniques for the safe and effective use of our products.
- Builds relationships and demonstrates the clinical outcome and benefits of company products to thought leaders, medical groups, government agencies, key opinion leaders and health systems, consumer‑ready medical products by communicating product‑related information to investigators and institutions.
- Provides perspective to field activities associated with growing existing products, and bringing new products to market.
- MD Designation only: Licensed MD may also need bridge communication between sales, marketing and clinical.
- Conducts continuing education workshops, seminars, and programs for graduate physicians, pharmacists, and scientists.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- At least 5 years of vascular surgery experience, mainly tied to project management.
- Experience in support process management, with preferably expertise in off label requests, within the medical field.
- At least a Baccalaureate degree.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

This position is eligible for a short‑term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
