We are building a digital-first MGA to simplify, automate, and modernize home and contents insurance for millions of Italian households. Want to build a category-defining brand in European Insurtech from the ground up? We are looking for a Technical Co-Founder to take full ownership of the tech vision, architecture, and execution from MVP to scale. This is a hands-on, full-stack leadership role. You’ll work side-by-side with the Co-Founder & CEO to bring Tuttoaposto from concept to product-market fit and beyond, leading the design and build of our MVP, data infrastructure, and API-first architecture. What You’ll Be Doing Own the technical roadmap, architecture, and execution of Tuttoaposto’s platform from day one Build and launch the MVP using lean, modern technologies — low/no-code, AI-powered IDEs, external APIs, pre-built insurance tools Design, integrate, and manage data pipelines across property data, IoT, geospatial risk, customer behaviour, and third-party APIs Set up internal tools for AI-powered claims handling and CX automation Build Tuttoaposto’s API layer, enabling seamless embedding into distribution partner flows Collaborate on the foundation of models for automated pricing and underwriting logic, integrating carrier data and market benchmarks Hire and lead the early engineering team, shaping culture, process, and technical standards Work closely with product, insurance, and growth to iterate rapidly and deliver measurable customer value What We’re Looking For Strong experience as a tech leader in a startup or fast-scaling tech company Proven ability to ship MVPs fast, with a pragmatic approach to technical debt and iteration Deep understanding of API design and integration, including building API endpoints that can embed into third-party platforms Experience with data architecture and enrichment, particularly around consumer profiling, risk modelling, or real-time personalisation Fluent in modern full-stack development (e.g., Node.js, Python, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, Firebase, etc.) Experience (or curiosity) around insurance, fintech, or regulated markets Bonus: Experience with AI/ML applications, IoT integration, or geospatial data Based in Italy or willing to relocate and travel regularly to Milan English & Italian language skills (fluency) Why Join as Co-Founder Co-found a venture-backed company supported by Founders Factory and Fastweb-Vodafone as both investors and strategic partners 10%-20% equity - true co-founder economics and full ownership of your domain Partner with a CEO & Co-Founder with expertise in growth, partnerships and monetisation (ex-Google, VC, and consumer startups) No legacy tech - shape the entire product and tech stack from scratch Apply AI & LLMs to a massive, real-world use case with untapped potential Solve a real, deeply underserved problem that impacts millions of Italians We’ll be reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
