Destination Managers
who combine outstanding guiding skills with strong operational and people leadership. This role is ideal for experienced guides who want to stay active in the field while also taking ownership of a product line and helping shape the guest and team experience in Rome.
The Role
As a Destination Manager, You will act as both a
leader and an active guide
. You will be responsible for the quality, performance, and day-to-day operations of one of our Rome product lines, while continuing to deliver tours yourself.
Each
Destination Manager
completes
3 tours or classes per week
(approx. 12 per month) and serves as a role model for guiding excellence.

Walking & Colosseum Tours Food & Tipsy Tours Cooking Classes
Compensation & Workload Compensation combines a
fixed monthly administrative fee
with
flat-rate payment per event
(not hourly).
Indicative monthly earnings: Walking & Colosseum:

Role-Specific Focus
1) Walking & Colosseum Tours High-volume logistics and scheduling Oversight of check-in staff and radio equipment
2) Food & Tipsy Tours Managing restaurant and bar partnerships Menu quality control and coordination of hosts and guides
3) Cooking Classes Oversight of the culinary school Managing chefs and hosts Supporting branded merchandise sales
Key Responsibilites
Deliver tours with consistently excellent guest feedback (target 4.9★ rating) Coach and support guides through regular feedback and audits Recruit, onboard, and train new team members Maintain close communication with the Operations Manager on quality, partners, and team performance
Requirements
Proven experience as a high-performing guide in Rome (history, food, or culinary focus) Strong leadership mindset and sense of ownership High-level Italian required for at least one of the roles
(partner and vendor communication) Availability to work evenings and weekends Professional, reliable, and guest-focused approach
