Role Description
As a Business Development Lead at Blubrake, you will be responsible for opening, cultivating and managing strategic customer relationships to accelerate the adoption of Blubrake's products.
You will act as a key liaison between Blubrake and the world's leading bicycle makers, to deliver on Blubrake's growth objectives. You'll report to the CCO, and will collaborate closely with the commercial organization (product management, service & marketing).
Key Responsibilities: · Sales & Business Development
o Manage the entire sales funnel with your accounts, from initial outreach to product introductions into the market.
o Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive product adoption and revenue growth with your accounts.
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities in our target markets.
· Customer Relationship Management
o Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with bicycle brands and manufacturers. No hit and run.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts on all aspects of doing business together. Selling products is just the start.
o Support customers with effective channel strategies and tactics to drive sales success towards the end-customer. If our customers will not succeed, neither will we.
o Understand customer needs and collaborate with product development and support teams.
· Product Advocacy
o Promote Blubrake's product solutions by clearly communicating value propositions.
o Collaborate with service, marketing and product teams to support product launches.
o Represent Blubrake at trade shows and industry events.
· Market Intelligence
o You are our eyes and ears in the market, and knows what's happening. Recognize industry trends, spot new brands, competitor activities; anything that helps to inform commercial strategies.
