This role focuses on driving market growth by originating, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. As a Hunter, you will prospect and build new client relationships, bring in new logos, and generate revenue by connecting Avanade’s capabilities with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Use demand generation strategies to acquire new clients, including origination and prospecting approaches.
- Work closely with partners and alliances (Microsoft, Accenture, and other ecosystem partners) to bring in new logos per fiscal year.
- Develop and implement go-to-market plans to open new logos within specific industry sectors.
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers to establish trust and drive new business opportunities.
- Leverage market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, optimize positioning, and broaden Avanade’s presence in the market.
- Craft and deliver compelling, value‑driven proposals that clearly articulate business benefits from adopting Microsoft‑based solutions.
- Engage buyers through multiple channels (digital content, social media, campaigns, email) to create awareness and generate pipeline.
Qualifications Skills and experiences:
- 5 years of experience in IT consulting sales, with focus on business development and hunting.
- Experience in a direct selling role.
- Proven track record in selling large‑scale consulting engagements.
- Industry knowledge: Financial Services.
- Strong origination, qualification, and prospecting skills with demand generation focus.
- Discovery, negotiation, and storytelling abilities to engage decision‑makers and address client needs.
- Good understanding of pipeline management and sales processes.
