to support high‑visibility automotive projects, ensuring software issues are identified, analyzed, and resolved efficiently across cross‑functional teams.

What You Will Do As a Defect Manager Engineer, you will oversee the full lifecycle of software defects and play a key role in improving product quality and delivery performance. Your responsibilities include: Managing the complete lifecycle of software defects, from
triage to closure Performing
root cause analysis
and identifying recurring or systemic issues Coordinating development, validation, integration, and architecture teams to ensure defect convergence Monitoring KPIs and defect trends, reporting progress toward project milestones Supporting continuous improvement of quality processes to prevent future issues Ensuring structured, clear, and effective communication across teams
Required Skills & Competencies Mandatory Strong experience in
Defect Management
: triage, routing, duplicate handling, convergence, RCA Technical understanding of
Automotive Software
, including: Embedded architectures (BSW, middleware) Diagnostics Gateway & networking Log analysis and interpretation Hands‑on experience with defect tracking tools (RTC, Jira, Polarion or similar) Ability to work with dashboards and KPIs Knowledge of software quality processes, especially
ASPICE (SUP.9)
, milestone gating, and release readiness Cross‑functional leadership and coordination skills Excellent analytical and communication abilities, with structured reporting
Seniority Minimum
1 year of experience
in a similar role
