Have you ever imagined a movie that changes every time you watch it ?
At OOVIE Studios, we create Interactive AI Movies : films that interact with live music and change their plot based on the music interpretation. We’ve already premiered our movies during the Venice Film Festival, Piccolo Teatro Strehler, and on stage with world-class soloists and orchestras.
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with sound processing and Audio AI expertise who will refine and build the "human ear" that processes the music analysis, and above all, has whatever it takes to become a real OOVIE.
One important requirement : you should be able to work in one of our three offices located in Zurich, Lugano, Milano (at least 1 in-person day per week).
What we’re looking for:
Hard skills
* Strong experience in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and owning complex systems.
* Solid background in audio processing, ML pipelines, or real-time systems.
* Fluency in Python and C++ plus hands-on experience with PyTorch / TensorFlow / JUCE.
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS.
* Comfortable reviewing code, setting standards, and taking prototypes to “this can go on stage”.
What you will do
* Own core parts of the audio → AI → video pipeline that drives our live shows.
* Design and scale backend systems from an MVP prototype to solid production (AWS + app ecosystem).
* Build music recognition tool for orchestras, theaters, and brands using Python/C++, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JUCE .
* Sit at the same table as musicians, filmmakers, and designers and turn ideas into features.
* Set up and maintain DevOps workflows ( Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS).
* Join rehearsals and R&D sessions where bugs, ideas, and magic all happen together.
* Work directly with the co-founders on product direction, roadmap, and technical choices.
