The interior is a tapestry of Roman heritage with 75 intricately styled rooms. Set over seven floors, Generator Rome includes a bar and chill-out lounge. NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB - Support the General Manager across all departments, and deputise in their absence - Be responsible for leading, developing and implementing a regular programme of creative, revenue-driving events and - initiatives within the hostel - Work with GM/HQ to evolve and expand the property F&B offerings to both internal and external guests ensuring all efforts are on-brand and revenue driving - Help the team create and deliver the budgeted P&L - Control payroll and all costs by understanding market conditions, forecasts and business on the books to maximise departmental income - Be commercially savvy in exploring new revenue streams - Have a comprehensive knowledge of, and ensure compliance with all statutory local legislation and regulation, in particular, - - - H&S, employment law and Fire Safety - Ensure all site level HR support is delivered and compliant - Cultivate relationships with local influencers and build a database of useful contacts - Be responsible for the ‘atmosphere management’ of the property - Ensure that our social spaces embody the Generator brand and culture - Communicate effectively and appropriately in all directions so that the wider team understands our company goals and is motivated to work towards their success Naturally this is not intended as an exhaustive list of duties.
