Role: Therapy and Business Development Consultant
Responsibilities:
* Establish Impella & Heart Recovery as the new standard of care in South Italy.
* Train MDs & hospital staff on the appropriate use of Impella.
* Leverage existing accounts for broader Impella therapy penetration and build relationships with key decision-makers and KOLs.
* Manage accounts, coordinate clinical activities, and implement training programs to expand physician skills and Impella adoption.
* Provide onsite support for elective cases, support patient implant procedures, and conduct bedside visits in ICU-CCU.
* Improve patient outcomes by supporting clinical staff and sharing best practices.
* Monitor activity and collect relevant clinical data from institutions with active Impella programs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or higher degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a relevant technical field.
* Proficiency in English.
* At least 2 years of experience in medical devices, preferably in cardiovascular space or heart failure.
* Experience in direct patient support in Cath Lab, ICU, or CCU preferred.
* Proven success in launching high-value therapies and achieving growth.
* Established relationships with Interventional Cardiologists and Cath Lab staff in South Italy preferred.
* Willingness to support physicians and patients at any time.
* Availability for regional travel (80%+).
