We are looking for a motivated Learning & Development Specialist to join the pre-opening team of the Hyatt Regency Rome Central.
The role will report to the Director of Human Resources and will support the Learning & Development function, ensuring continuity of training activities during a maternity leave.
Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a newly renovated contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy's most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Support the design and implementation of training programs for all levels of staff, focusing on service excellence and operational effectiveness
* Assist in the development of onboarding and ongoing training content
* Coordinate and deliver onboarding sessions for new hires, ensuring alignment with company values and standards
* Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and support execution of training plans
* Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions
* Coordinate external trainers when required
* Monitor training activities and collect feedback to ensure effective delivery
* Support the creation of individual development plans based on performance and business needs
* Provide day-to-day support to employees on learning initiatives
* Track training participation and support reporting activities
* Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures
* Support quality checks and continuous improvement initiatives across departments
* Contribute to the integration of ESG principles into learning activities
Skills and requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
* 2–4 years of experience in Learning & Development or HR
* Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written
