About You and This Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role focuses on generating opportunities through inbound and outbound outreach. Responsibilities include researching prospects, following up on inquiries, and engaging via email, phone, and social media to qualify leads and support sales growth.
Job Responsibilities
* Increase Liferay brand awareness in Italy, Greece, Israel, Turkey, and Cyprus as needed.
* Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Managers to demonstrate Liferay’s value through targeted prospecting.
* Identify new business opportunities via events, social media campaigns, trade shows, and support marketing ROI.
* Proactively reach out to potential clients to educate them about our offerings and build a sales pipeline.
* Work with Sales and Marketing to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
* Engage in high-level conversations with senior executives.
* Develop knowledge of our products and services.
* Design and execute outbound sales programs.
* Achieve monthly and quarterly activity and lead generation targets.
* Use sales processes to maintain high standards.
* Support scheduling of sales appointments.
* Perform additional duties as the role evolves.
Skill Preferences
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the technology industry and the Italian market.
* Experience in prospecting within government, banking, insurance, telecom, or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
* Fluent in Italian (native) and English; additional languages are advantageous.
* Self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a dynamic environment.
* Experience in high-volume sales environments is desirable.
* Strong prospecting skills for inbound and outbound outreach.
* Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
* Excellent communication skills tailored to target audiences.
* Experience with platforms like Salesforce, Salesloft, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo is highly advantageous.
