Job Title: Managed Services Manager Location: Milan (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)Employment Type: PermanentSalary: €50,000 – €85,000 + bonusStart Date: ImmediateIndustry: IT ConsultancyWe are currently supporting a leading technology consultancy in the search for an experienced Managed Services Manager to join their growing operations team in Milan.This is an excellent opportunity for a senior IT professional with strong Managed Services and Service Delivery experience to lead operational services across enterprise environments, with a particular focus on cloud platforms (primarily Microsoft Azure).The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service delivery, ensuring SLA performance, driving operational improvements, and acting as the key link between technical delivery teams and customer stakeholders.Managed Services Manager – Key ResponsibilitiesManaged Services DeliveryOversee the delivery of managed IT services across infrastructure and cloud environmentsEnsure services are delivered in line with agreed SLAs, KPIs and operational standardsManage day-to-day service performance, incident management and operational escalationsService Management & GovernanceImplement and manage ITIL-aligned service management processesTrack service performance metrics and lead regular service review meetingsEnsure strong governance across incident, problem and change management processesCloud & Infrastructure OversightSupport managed services delivery across cloud environments, particularly Microsoft AzureWork closely with engineering teams to ensure stable and scalable cloud operationsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across cloud platforms and managed environmentsStakeholder ManagementAct as the key point of contact for operational service deliveryBuild strong relationships with both technical teams and business stakeholdersProvide reporting on service performance, operational health, and improvement plansOperational LeadershipCoordinate cross-functional teams delivering managed servicesIdentify opportunities to improve automation, service maturity and operational efficiencySupport service transition activities for new customers or new servicesManaged Services Manager – Key Skills RequiredProven experience working in Managed Services, IT Service Delivery, or Service Management rolesPrevious experience in a Service Manager, Service Delivery Manager, or similar leadership positionITIL certification (ITIL v3 or ITIL v4) is requiredBachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similarStrong experience managing enterprise managed services environmentsExperience working with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft AzureStrong understanding of ITIL service management processes including incident, problem, and change managementExperience managing SLAs, KPIs, service reviews, and operational performanceExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to manage service escalations and drive continuous service improvementPlease apply now if this role is of interest.
