Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the network powering the world's largest online services. The Construction Superintendent (CSA) requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, the ability to self-direct, a solid background in data center design, engineering, controls, operational requirements, and deep expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. This role leads all field-related mission-critical activities, coordinating with DCD PM and subcontractors for proper execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure project delivery aligns with DCD Guidelines and standards, adapting based on industry best practices and lessons learned.
2. Coordinate site conflicts and RFIs with design teams to unblock project schedules.
3. Manage project objectives, vendor strategies, and cross-group collaboration to ensure effective client relationships, cost management, and timely delivery.
4. Promote a safe worksite, adhering to safety as a core pillar alongside quality, schedule adherence, and cost management.
5. Collaborate with internal groups to maintain project vision and goals.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in developing Mission Critical Facilities.
* Experience with a General Contractor or trade.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Detailed understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems, including testing, MOPs/SOPs, troubleshooting.
* Experience supporting commissioning efforts.
* Willingness to travel.
* Ability to manage deadlines and support staff independently.
* Influence cross-discipline teams.
* Knowledge of Construction Health & Safety.
* Experience managing multiple large projects.
Additional Requirements
Ability to meet security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check, is mandatory.
